Note: It appears that Johann and his family arrived in Groß-Gerungs Parish around 1718/19. The order of their first 5 children is purely speculative. Johann Stadler's family was not found in the parish records of Bad Groß-Pertholz, Großschönau, Großgöttfriz, Unserfrau, Weitra, Oberkirchen, or Kirchbach. A Thomas Stadler, married in 1663, was located in Schweiggers Parish records, and an Eva Stattler, daughter of Thomas & Magdalena Stattler of Muetterambs, was married in Großgöttfritz Parish in 1681. Several Stadler families lived in Brand bei Gföhl Parish, which incorporated a great deal of area early on.
